I have decided to upload my photo of Katy, who I have mentioned in previous postings without naming her. Normally I would want to protect somebody's privacy, but I don't know if she is still alive.

I took this photo a few years ago on Clapham High Street near the the hostel where she lived.

I first met Katy ten years ago on Tooting Bec Common. In those days there were lots of women who went there to meet men. Many of them were not drug addicts. One of these explained to me that the drug addicted girls undercut the others in price but are best avoided.

I still haven't decided if it would have been better if I had heeded this advice.

Every time I see a crumpled can of 'K' cider in the gutter I think of Katy.
